Logged-in Pricing¶
The Logged-in Pricing extension hides your inventory prices from visitors who aren't signed in, replacing each one with a message you write. Prices reappear automatically the moment a visitor logs in.
Dealers use it to make pricing a reason to register — turning an anonymous browse into a known contact — or to keep wholesale and trade pricing off the public site while leaving the rest of the listing visible.

The extension only hides prices. It doesn't create accounts, registration forms, or login pages — you'll want a way for visitors to actually sign in, or the message is a dead end.
How it works¶
- You write the replacement text once, in DMS settings.
- Every price rendered on the front end is checked. If the visitor is signed in, they see the real price; if not, they see your text.
- Nothing is stored differently and no price is changed — the substitution happens as the page is built.
Any logged-in user sees prices
The check is simply whether someone is signed in — it isn't role-based. A subscriber, a customer, and an administrator all see real prices. If you need pricing limited to particular roles, this extension alone won't do it.
What it covers¶
Prices rendered through DMS on the front end are replaced. That includes listing detail pages, search results, comparison tables, and the listings scroller.
Two things it does not change:
- The underlying price data. Exports, feeds, and anything reading the raw value still carry real figures. Check any third-party feed or structured-data output separately if the goal is to keep prices off the public internet entirely.
- The admin. Anyone who can reach the WordPress dashboard is logged in by definition, so pricing works normally there.
