Template Elements¶

DMS adds its own elements to the Elementor editor - the building blocks you drop into a template to show live listing data, filters, forms, and more. Search "DMS" in the Elementor element panel to find them.

This is the index of every element and where each one can be used. Each group links to a page with the full options for its elements.

Where elements can be used¶

Each element is available only in the template types (and pages) that make sense for it. You'll see these labels throughout:

Label	Where it works
VDP	Vehicle Details Page templates - the single-listing page.
SRI	Search Result Item templates - the repeating result card.
SRP	Search Results Page templates - the results grid and its filters.
Form	Inside a DMS Form element - these are the form's fields.
Anywhere	Any page or template, including standalone WordPress pages.

An element scoped to VDP and SRI, for example, appears in the editor only while you're building one of those template types. See Templates & Pages for how the template types fit together.

Listing content elements¶

Show a listing's own data. Available on VDP and SRI templates (a few are VDP-only). Full options: Listing Elements.

Search Results Page elements¶

Build the results grid, its controls, and the filters shoppers use. Available on SRP templates. Full options: Search Results Page Elements.

Filters¶

Range Filter also works inside a Form.

Form elements¶

Build contact and lead forms. The Form element is the container (usable anywhere); the rest are fields placed inside it. See lead forms for mapping fields to lead data. Full options: Form Elements.

Adding an element¶

Edit a template (or page) with Elementor.
In the element panel, search "DMS" to see the elements available in that template type.
Drag one in, then set its options in the left-hand settings panel.

Tip

Most elements also work as shortcodes - the [dms_...] code next to each - for placing in plain text/HTML blocks. See Using Shortcodes.
