Dashboard¶
The Dashboard is your DMS home screen - the first thing you see when you click Dealer.ms in the admin sidebar. It's a quick overview of what needs attention, made up of cards (widgets).
What's on it¶
The Dashboard shows a set of cards. Which ones appear depends on your setup and what needs attention, but the standard cards are:

| Follow Up Leads | Leads that need following up over the next 7 days - your daily to-do for sales. See Leads & Contacts. |
| License / Upgrade | Your current plan and upgrade options. Full details live on Billing & Usage. |
| Announcements | News from Dealer.ms, with a link to view them all. |
| Changelog | The latest DMS updates and what changed, with a link to the full changelog. |
Attention cards¶
Some cards only appear when something needs action, and they sit full-width at the top so you can't miss them:
- Updates - shown when one or more of your extensions has an update available. Update from here or from the Extensions page.
- Background Tasks Not Running - a warning shown if DMS's scheduled tasks (imports, alert emails, and similar) haven't run in over 24 hours. If you see this, your site's cron may be stalled - mention it to your host or Dealer.ms, as time-based features rely on it.
Showing or hiding cards¶
Some cards (like Announcements and Changelog) can be turned on or off, and installed extensions can add their own cards. So your Dashboard may look a little different from another site's - that's expected.
